Flat, dry, and sound before anything goes down. Grinding high spots, filling low spots, and moisture-testing slabs is the least visible part of the job and the part that decides whether your floor is still tight in year five.

Cement backer board on every wet wall, a bonded membrane lapped at every seam and corner, and a flood-tested pan before a single tile is set. We will name the system we use in writing.

Fields are dry-laid and centered so full tiles face your sightlines and cuts land where they read best. It costs us time up front and it is the difference between custom and close enough.

You get a day-by-day outline before demo starts, including exactly which days a room is offline. If something changes, you hear it from us the same day rather than at the end.

If your existing hardwood is worth refinishing instead of replacing, we say so. If keeping your plumbing where it is saves you real money, we say that too — even when it shrinks the invoice.

Doorways sealed against dust, adjoining floors protected, and the work area cleaned before we leave each evening. The only evidence we were here should be the room we finished.
