Flooring GT is owned and run by Juan Carlos Gonzalez, working out of 1611 Northwest 7th Street in Oklahoma City. We install tile, hardwood, laminate, luxury vinyl plank and carpet, and we remodel bathrooms and kitchens across the metro — 14 cities in total.
The thing that shapes how we work is simple: almost every flooring or tile failure we are called to fix traces back to what was underneath, not what was on top. A subfloor that was never flattened. A slab that was never moisture-tested. A shower with drywall behind the tile and no membrane anywhere. None of that is visible on the day the job is finished, and all of it decides whether the room still looks right in five years.
So we straightedge floors before quoting prep. We moisture-test slabs. We name the waterproofing system in the estimate rather than gesturing at it. It costs us time up front, and it is the entire reason we do not spend our weeks going back to fix our own work.
